This morning the line-up for the 2018 BBC Proms was released, and we're delighted to announce that Benjamin will return to the Royal Albert Hall to perform two concerts over August. Both of these performances will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
Benjamin's first performance at the festival will be a Late Night Prom on the 16th August, where he will play Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Guy Barker and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Discover more about the concert here.
On Friday 24th August, Benjamin will be performing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 alongside the BBC Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with Finnish conductor Sakari Oramo for the first time. Benjamin received fantastic praise from the press for his performances of Mozart's work in January, when he made his debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Bachtrack reviewed:
"Benjamin Grosvenor, making his debut with the orchestra, brought dazzling technique, a supple, controlled touch, a strong left hand and cool elegance to Mozart’s concerto."

General booking for the BBC Proms opens on Saturday 12th May. In the meantime, watch Benjamin's music video for Rhapsody in Blue below!
