Benjamin Grosvenor continued his residency with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra last night with a recital at The Lighthouse, Poole.
Benjamin was joined by duo partner Hyeyoon Park (www.hyeyoonpark.com/) for a romantic programme of works by Schumann and Franck. The concert was live-streamed as part of the BSO@Home series. It is available on demand until June 4th, here.
The performance was presented by Catherine Bott: "Grosvenor signalled his artistry at the age of 11 ... he's now 28 and has done nothing but mature and develop since then. He is a treat to listen to."
Benjamin was appointed Artist-in-Residence with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for the 2020/21 season. The residency offers a number of concerts across the season, both in concerto alongside the orchestra and chamber recitals.
Previous Artists-in-Residence have included Andreas Ottensamer, Nemanja Radulovic, Augustin Hadelich, Johannes Moser, Gabriela Montero and many more. The BSO’s Artist-in-Residence programme is generously supported by Terence and Annette O’Rourke.
