This Friday, acclaimed British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor performs a solo recital to a sold-out City Hall in Hong Kong as part of the Premiere Performances series in a programme featuring Chopin and Liszt.
This comes hot off the heels of a successful chamber tour across Japan with violinist Sayaka Shoji and the Modigliani Quartet which included performances of Takemitsu, Debussy and Chausson in Mito, Osaka and Suntory Hall, Tokyo.
Benjamin returns to Europe in October for further recitals in Paris at Theatre des Champs Elysées (15 October) and London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall (18 October), where his programme of the Liszt B minor and Chopin Third Sonatas is paired with Gubaidulina and Bach-Siloti.
You can listen to Benjamin discussing this fantastic programme (and other topics!) here.
